Yoga for a Clear Mind

Body & Soul Boot Camp: Yoga for a Clear Mind

We’re all stressed out at some point during the day—it’s how we handle our stress that really matters. Yoga is a proven way to help with elevated stress levels and an overactive mind. It’s actually a moving meditation (for more on meditation, see Fostering Mindfulness, the Essence of Meditation). So this quick workout will give you zen with both channels.

Yoga: Mind Over Body

Yoga aims for the integrity of the body, mind, and spirit through a system of postures, breathing exercises, meditation. In reality, it consists of disciplines designed to bring closer to godliness. Sometimes it’s just because it’s a New Moon and there’s something going on astrologically – at least, it’s another handy label or tag for my experience…
Yep, the new moon is conjuncting my Gemini moon and I’m all floaty and ethereal and soaring away from the earth, more like a butterfly than a rocket though, flitting from one thing to the next, never stopping to rest.
